Sanjivani Health & Relief Committee (SHRC) provides qualified healthcare services to poor village people at their doorsteps. SHRC sends its team of doctors, paramedical staff and volunteers in a mobile van to villages and provides various range of medical services. The NGO aims to create a Just society without discrimination of gender, cast, creed, race or financial status of an individual by providing best of facility for Health Care at affordable rate, education with preservation of Indian culture at free of cost, empowering, developing skills in vocational profession at negligible cost.

Major Interventions:

Sanjivani Health Care Centre: The NGO runs an advanced diagnostic referral centre for urban under privileged counterpart of the society. It is a fully equipped OPD based centre including Pathology laboratory, Radiology department with Ultrasonography and X Ray service, Physiotherapy centre, Dental clinic Generic Medical store providing medicines at most economical rates.

  • Dailysis Centre: SHRC also provides free of cost dialysis service to chronic kidney failure patients. Currently, 9 machines are installed with capacity of providing 450 procedures every month.

Rural Primary Healthcare: Sanjivani Gramin Arogya Kendras provides preventive and curative care with a focus on prevention and treatment of hypertension and diabetes at initial stages. Healthcare camps provide accessible, affordable and qualified basic healthcare services to small villages through mobile medical clinics thereby spreading awareness about healthy, addiction-free living. The doctors visit villages in a mobile van so that patients in remote villages get qualified medical service at their doorsteps, providing basic healthcare, dental, Ophthalmic Diagnostic, Multi-Speciality, ECG Screening, Blood Sugar and Hypertension Testing services.

Education Initiative: The objective is to provide application-oriented and value-added education with thrust on human values, cultural values, skill development and personality development without adding any financial burden on parents. Shiv Prathamik-Madhyamik Shala (Gujarati) and Sanjivani Vidyavihar (English) and Shiv Prathamik Shala are operational where children from economically weaker section of society take benefit at most affordable rates from pre-primary to Grade 10. Additionally, all support education materials are provided at 50% of MRP and exercise books are provided free of cost along with Nutrition and healthcare. A pair of school uniform, festival T-Shirts, shoes and socks are also provided free.

Women Empowerment: The skill development programs including courses like Mehendi, tailoring, beauty parlour, computer and yoga classes, divet making, and self-defence trainings are provided at healthcare centres.
