Swasti was established to enhance the well-being of marginalized communities. Swasti's core areas of expertise include strengthening of health systems, market-based solutions, e-health, work place interventions and social protection.

Their Main Programs are:

Invest for Wellness (i4We): Swasti focuses on innovating the primary health care system through designing and providing affordable and accessible health services to those who have the greatest need for primary healthcare but are least likely to receive it. They strive to design a self-propelled, viable primary healthcare model combining medical, behavioural and social sciences with an appropriate mix of technology and health financing. Beneficiaries get health advice, assured screening and treatment for 20 diseases and conditions with priority access to health services. Further, programs like PHC dynamic database & Telecare ensures community care service to address physical, emotional and social determinants of health in an impactful manner.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene: This program strives to reduce disease incidences, improve drinking water systems and increase access to toilets and hand washing facilities. Swasti works with rural communities on improving their water security and wash facilities in schools and factories in Madhya Pradesh. They also set up systems for waste segregation, community water plants and waste water management systems in partnership with local governments. Additionally, Swasti has designed and implemented a first in India pilot of wastewater surveillance to detect traces of SARS-CoV-2 in Bangalore city.-

Sexual, Reproductive Health and Rights: The SRHR program focuses on the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STI/HIV), encourages girls, women and sexual minorities to lead violence-free lives, and strengthens community institutions for sustainable change. Community Led Monitoring (CLM) provides a first-hand perspective of the community’s experience of HIV services and co-creates solutions to address challenges and celebrates good practices. It also strives to reduce the stigma and discrimination against HIV positive people.

In addition, Swasti has partnered with Walmart Vriddhi supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) by providing technical support and expertise to empower and accelerate their growth in domestic and international markets thereby contributing to their productivity, competitiveness and to the sustainable development of India.
