Quality Medical Knowledge Foundation is committed to strengthening evidence-based healthcare in India. Established with the vision of empowering health professionals and students with essential research and information skills, the Foundation works towards bridging the critical gap between medical education and access to reliable medical literature. Its mission is to make every medical graduate, researcher, and practitioner proficient in searching, evaluating, and applying medical knowledge in their professional practice.

Major Interventions:

Online Learning Programs: QMed designs and delivers online courses that provide essential skills in literature searching, referencing, and medical writing. These courses are created in simple modules to suit the needs of students, faculty, and health professionals. Programs such as Information Resources and Literature Searching, Introduction to Referencing, Mastering PubMed, and Reference Management with Mendeley are structured to give participants practical, step-by-step guidance. By making two of the courses freely available, it ensures that basic competencies are accessible to a wider audience, while advanced modules build deeper expertise.

Webinars and Lectures: It conducts webinars and guest lectures for institutions across India. These sessions create awareness about the importance of structured literature searching and referencing. They also serve as an entry point for participants to explore the full range of learning resources. The webinars are interactive and designed to sensitize participants about the importance of using correct research strategies in both academic and clinical settings.

Mentoring and Support: Beyond courses and webinars, QMed offers personalized mentoring to students and researchers. It provides one-on-one guidance for developing effective search strategies, preparing systematic reviews, and improving academic writing. It maintains a growing library of curated resources, tools, and articles which are continually updated that assist learners in their research journey.
