Turnstone Global is engaged in providing comprehensive empowerment to underprivileged sections of the society by facilitating the holistic development of the disadvantaged and helping them to achieve their highest potential thereby preparing them to face challenges in life with high confidence.

It provides a diverse range of services to its beneficiaries including pre-natal health care to fostering old age care; covering in between sectors like education, healthcare, skill development training, livelihood and entrepreneurship skill development and so on.

Main Activities include:

• Health Care: Turnstone Global organizes awareness programs on chronic diseases like Diabetes, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Hypertension, Anaemia and promotes Equal treatment for disabled and non-disabled communities. Medical camps for General health and Eye Care are setup in rural areas for the youth and elderly. Multidisciplinary Therapy services like Occupational Therapy, Psychological Counselling, Vision Rehabilitation Therapy, etc. are provided to underprivileged individuals.
• Education: The NGO operates through Formal and Non-Formal schools to promote education in remote or tribunal areas of West Bengal. Under non-formal schooling, it aims to educate vulnerable children of the slums and to decrease the dropout rates and admit such students into mainstream schools. ‘Touch the Childhood’ is a school program for children with learning difficulties like Dyslexia, ADHD, Dysgraphia, etc. in order to provide them with quality and equal educational opportunities as others. Hostel facilities are given to visually challenged people along with distribution of aids and appliances. Besides their school programs, the organization also distributes education scholarships to underserved and differently abled children.
• Vocational Trainings: The courses covered in the trainings include hospitality and retail management, soft skills, handicraft, beauty & wellness, motor training, spice & candle manufacturing and paper craft, sanitizer making. Turnstone has been working on skill development to empower women of rural communities for income generation purposes, after which they are facilitated into SHGs. The NGO runs Digital Literacy Programs to familiarize communities with the basic usage of computers and other digital devices.
