Modern Educational Social & Cultural Organization (MESCO) strives to improve the quality of life for the financially disadvantaged by promoting meaningful education and health. MESCO's primary objective is to promote education among the weaker sections of society, including the promotion of Science and Literature. Furthermore, it works for the social upliftment of backward sections and seeks to foster a better understanding and appreciation of universal cultural values.
Major Interventions:
Educational Support: The Educational Adoption Scheme assists a large number of students. The High-Cost Education Scholarship is specifically for students pursuing professional courses, ensuring they can complete their higher studies and gain better scope in the job market. Educational Aid is a flagship program that endorses means-deprived students from nursery through graduation, including those enrolled in ITI and Short-Term Vocational Courses. It encourages skill-based courses to promote financial independence. Beyond financial support, MESCO organizes programs like Career Guidance and Counseling, Aptitude Tests, and Personality Development to broaden the students' horizons.
Institutional Support: MESCO extends its assistance to educational institutions, such as the R.C. Mahim Municipal Urdu School. It sponsors different educational activities at the school, and its intervention in providing extra classes helps the students achieve high success in their board examination results.
Medical Aid and Clinic Services: MESCO reaches patients through several medical schemes, which include Life-Saving Medical Aid and various levels of Dialysis and Injection Support. It provides primary healthcare through static dispensaries and treats patients at its clinic in Mumbra, Maharashtra. Additionally, MESCO runs a Physiotherapy center in Thane and organizes health awareness programs and health camps for the community.
Relief of Poverty: MESCO maintains a strong commitment to the social welfare of families. It provides monthly food support through the Ration Support Scheme. It also empowers women by distributing Sewing Machines to widows, destitute, deserted, and needy women, enabling them to manage their family needs.
