To begin, visit our 'Create a Campaign' page. You'll be required to fill out campaign details such as title, objectives, fundraising goal, impact narrative, and visuals. After submission, the campaign is reviewed by our team for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with your registered program areas before it goes live.

Once a campaign is submitted with all required details and documents, it typically takes 5-7 working days for our team to complete the review. Timelines may vary based on the completeness of submitted information or if clarifications are needed.

Our aim is to promote transparency in the social sector. Every fundraiser is reviewed and approved or rejected by our team. For NGOs, financial and legal documents are assessed. For individuals, we request valid ID proof and cause-related documents. Campaigns are curated by our team and subject to periodic updates, ensuring accurate and trustworthy information for donors.

You can raise funds for any genuine and legal cause – personal, medical, educational, social, or community-based. Whether you're supporting yourself, someone else, or a broader initiative, your campaign is welcome as long as it meets our authenticity and ethical guidelines.

For donors following the old tax regime, donations are eligible for 50% tax benefit under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The donors will automatically receive donation receipts via email on making a successful donation transaction.

All funds raised are transferred directly to the campaign owner's bank account by HelpYourNGO Foundation. Disbursals are subject to documentation and compliance verification.

HelpYourNGO charges a nominal platform fee of 5% to cover operational and payment gateway costs. This fee is transparently disclosed at the time of campaign creation and is deducted from the total funds raised before the final disbursal.

Campaigners are encouraged to actively promote their campaign within their networks, on social media and messenger apps. Consistent updates and engagement help build donor confidence.

Yes, you can start a campaign on behalf of another person or cause – such as a relative in need of medical care or an NGO in need of support. You must have consent and supporting documents, and you'll be responsible for fund disbursal and updates.

No, HelpYourNGO does not accept donations from non-Indian citizens. Contributions can only be made by donors holding Indian passports.
