Abhiprerna Foundation is committed to transforming education in rural India. With a vision to empower people with disabilities, achieved by developing innovative strategies to enhance their skills and, consequently, their earning capacity, thus enabling them to make a decent living. The foundation focuses on creating a modern and inclusive learning environment in underprivileged communities. Its mission is to improve infrastructure, promote quality education, and empower students to realize their full potential.
Major Interventions:
Model School Project – “Ek Udan Pragati ki Orr”
This flagship initiative aims to upgrade government schools into model institutions with enhanced infrastructure and a quality learning environment. The project incorporates modern educational tools like smart classrooms, libraries, and activity rooms. It also emphasizes extracurricular activities such as art and craft competitions, science exhibitions, and educational trips to nurture creativity and innovation among students.
Teacher Training and Community Engagement: Recognizing the pivotal role of educators, the foundation conducts regular workshops for teachers to improve their teaching methodologies. Parent-teacher meetings and community awareness programs are held to ensure active participation from families and communities in the educational journey of children.
Special Coaching and Talent Recognition: Abhiprerna organizes specialized coaching classes for high school and intermediate students, focusing on mathematics and science. Students also participate in talent recognition programs that celebrate their achievements and encourage a spirit of healthy competition.
Cleanliness and Health Awareness: Promoting hygiene and environmental consciousness is a key focus area. It organizes cleanliness drives, builds separate toilets for boys and girls, and provides access to clean drinking water through RO systems. Kitchen gardens and health awareness campaigns further contribute to sustainable practices and well-being.
Cultural, Sports Activities and Annual Celebrations are integral to the NGO’s approach, fostering holistic development and a sense of belonging among students. By nurturing talents and building life skills, these initiatives contribute to the overall growth of students.
