Presence

Programs

Vidya & Child works under a vision to explore the unique potential in each child while empowering families to think about their future. It carries out its mission by creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment that integrates academic excellence with value-based, holistic development. The ultimate goal remains to ensure that every child completes their educational journey and becomes a sensitive, self-aware individual capable of making responsible career and life choices.

Major Interventions:

School Programme: It runs dedicated schools that provide a stimulating environment for children from Nursery to Class 8. This program focuses on conceptual and experiential learning through activities, experiments, and reading. Educators utilize mini science labs and creative projects to nurture curiosity and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

After School Support Programme (ASSP): As children transition to mainstream schools for higher classes, the NGO continues its engagement through after-school support. This program assists students from Class 9 to Class 12 with their academic curriculum and helps them prepare for competitive examinations. It ensures continuity in education and prevents dropouts during critical adolescent years.

Holistic Development and Arts: Vidya & Child integrates Art and Performing Arts (APA) into its core curriculum to foster creativity and confidence. Children participate in pottery, dance, puppetry, theatre, and music through various partnerships. These activities allow students to discover innate strengths and express themselves freely beyond traditional academics.

Career Guidance and Alumni Support: Guidance for the future begins as students move into higher grades through psychometric tests, career counseling, and exposure visits. The Alumni Programme connects current students with over six hundred graduates who share personal challenges and industry insights. This network supports students through college admissions and vocational training, ensuring a successful transition into professional careers.
