Programs

Make-A-Wish Foundation of India is part of the global Make-A-Wish network, present in over 50 countries. It is committed to fulfilling life-changing wishes for children aged 3 to 18 with critical illnesses. The foundation envisions a world where every eligible child experiences the transformative power of a wish. Its mission is to bring hope, strength, and joy to these children, empowering them to face their medical journeys with resilience.

Wish Programs

Make-A-Wish India grants four types of wishes that align with a child’s dreams and aspirations.

  • Wish to Go: These wishes allow children to explore new places, breaking away from hospital routines. Visits to temples, scenic locations, or iconic sites inspire curiosity and provide a refreshing change.
  • Wish to Be: These wishes empower children to imagine themselves in roles they admire, such as a superhero, princess, or astronaut. Such experiences foster creativity, confidence, and resilience.
  • Wish to Meet: Meeting role models, celebrities, or heroes creates cherished memories and reinforces a child’s sense of worth and inspiration.
  • Wish to Have: These wishes offer tangible items like toys or bicycles, enhancing quality of life and providing comfort during medical treatments.

The foundation believes in the profound impact of granting wishes. Make-A-Wish India contributes significantly to the emotional and mental well-being of children, proving that a single wish can inspire strength and transformation in countless lives during challenging times.
