VISHWAS Sansthan works towards the socio-economic development of the deprived and marginalized sections of society. It strives to fulfill the needs of the rural and urban poor, working tirelessly with passionate social workers.
Major Interventions:
Livelihood Programs: The NGO implements various livelihood initiatives to boost economic self-sufficiency. It operates a goat rearing and promotion project, which encourages villagers to adopt advanced techniques for increased financial gain. The program provides training and guidance on animal care to goat herders. In addition, it offers skill development and vocational training in areas such as mobile and domestic appliance repair and food processing. These programs equip rural youth and women with practical skills to start their own businesses and secure their livelihoods.
Health and Social Welfare: It conducts health and eye examination camps to provide essential care to residents. A key initiative focuses on social welfare by distributing relief materials to those in need, including a program that provides blankets to expecting and new mothers to support their health and comfort. The NGO believes in a holistic approach that connects health and social support to its broader development goals.
Agricultural Initiatives: It recognizes the importance of agriculture and works with farmers to improve their practices. It conducts awareness programs for farmers, introducing them to modern farming techniques for various crops. These sessions provide knowledge on efficient cultivation methods, helping farmers increase their yields and achieve better profitability from their harvest. These agricultural programs contribute to food security and economic stability within the farming community.
