A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Winnie brings over 17 years of professional experience across finance, governance, and advisory. She began her career with Ernst & Young, where she spent seven years auditing renowned Indian companies, gaining deep expertise in financial analysis, compliance, and evaluating organisational integrity.
In 2015, Winnie chose to apply these skills to the development sector, driven by a desire to bring greater transparency and accountability to social impact organisations. This marked the beginning of her journey with HelpYourNGO, with a clear mission to “make a difference” by helping donors make informed giving decisions and supporting credible NGOs in building trust.
Winnie works closely with donors to design thoughtful giving strategies and with NGOs to strengthen governance, credibility, and long-term sustainability. Her work spans CSR advisory, NGO due diligence, and philanthropic structuring, with a strong focus on accountability and reporting.
She is a regular speaker at forums and investor platforms, where she advocates for a shift from transactional charity to strategic philanthropy—encouraging donors to view giving not just as an act of generosity, but as an investment in lasting social change.
Winnie is deeply committed to building a more resilient and transparent giving ecosystem in India—one where capital flows consistently to credible organisations, and impact is sustained over time.
