Unless and until you believe in yourself, how will you convince the other person of your idea, of your concept, of anything?

People are not stupid; they can make out when you are shamming, when you're lying, when you're not saying something convincingly. If you're not proud of what you're doing, forget about trying to sell something to someone. The passion will just not come through.

I have realized, having worked across different sectors in these thirty years, that while it is important what you say, yes, but I have found in real life it is far more important how you say it. And that "how you say it" comes from here.

How passionately you do... Do people need to restrain you from talking about your subject? Something that I find extremely difficult and lacking in most people.

Since there are lots, I'm not going to, you know, get into some self-actualization course here. But just stop by saying these are what I think are important, and this is what I keep asking myself continually: How am I doing? Where am I on this? Am I slipping?

Because it's the easiest thing to drift. It's the easiest thing for a motivation level to get down, because there are so many challenges, there are so many conflicting priorities. But I have to tell myself that unless and until my mindset is of this kind, no skills and knowledge is going to come to my help.
