Creating opportunities for underprivileged children in India
  • With a focus to reduce the number of drop outs in schools, Each One Teach One (EOTO) evolved from one woman's dream into a diverse professional organization with holistic and effective programs for children aged 6 years and above. EOTO's main focus is on promoting education and providing educational support to students from marginalized sections of India.
  • Programs: i) EOTO works primarily on imparting education in subjects such as English, Mathematics and Science with a provision of extra coaching classes if needed for their beneficiaries. They are also provided with notebooks, uniforms and nutritional support. To gain additional knowledge the students have set up libraries and science laboratories in their schools. ii) Teacher training sessions are regularly conducted to keep them updated with the latest techniques and teaching aids. iii) As a part of integrated personality development, EOTO has consistent organized counseling sessions, career guidance programs, skill development sessions, cultural and sport events for all their students.
  • Outcome: EOTO has its presence in urban and rural areas and has reached out to more than 10,000 children in 20 states of India.
