Umang Foundation aims to create empowered communities where children learn in safe and supportive environments, and families build sustainable futures. Its mission is to deliver practical, grassroots solutions through volunteer-driven action, partnerships, and long-term engagement. The focus centers on reducing school dropout rates in rural and semi-urban regions.

Major Interventions:

Project Promote Education: This flagship initiative addresses the root causes of high school dropout rates by providing essential school supplies. The foundation distributes stationery kits to students in slums and rural areas to ensure they have the basic materials required to continue their academic journey. By equipping children with these tools, the program seeks to break the cycle of poverty and open new opportunities for future generations.

Infrastructure Development: The foundation undertakes comprehensive renovation projects to create safe and conducive learning environments. These efforts include the restoration of classroom buildings, the construction of functional kitchen facilities for mid-day meals, and the development of clean sanitation units. Additionally, it builds open-air stages to provide students with dedicated spaces for cultural expression and confidence-building activities.

Digital Literacy and Smart Classrooms: To bridge the digital divide, the foundation installs smart classroom kits and distributes computers to schools in underserved areas. These setups include interactive whiteboards, projectors, and digital content designed to make learning more engaging. The program also provides necessary training for teachers to help them integrate technology effectively into their daily pedagogical methods.

Health and Wellness Initiatives: Beyond education, it promotes the well-being of students and their families through various health programs. These activities include organizing blood donation drives, setting up fitness centers in villages, and providing insurance protection against diseases. The foundation also facilitates eye screening campaigns and supports children who are undergoing medical treatment for serious illnesses.
