Holistic, Affordable and Quality Health Care
  • Government spending on public health is only 1.04% of GDP and is inadequate in providing the common man with access to reasonable and good quality health care. The Trust was started as the collective dream of doctors to provide quality healthcare to the underprivileged and has consistently increased its various health outreach activities.
  • BhaktiVedanta Hospital & Research Institute provides holistic health care covering Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Homoeopathic and other medical therapies. It provides world class health care at a reasonable cost, and in deserving cases, totally free. It has expanded further into health care centers and rural development. In FY16 in they organized 400 eye health camps, screened 60,000 patients and performed over 7,500 cataract surgeries.
  • Outreach: 44,429 free cataract surgeries in past 5 years. In FY16: Cancer care 4,883 patients screened; Palliative Care 17,556 patients registered; Hamrahpur Health Center 17,831 OPD facility users; PV Doshi Hospital 69,164 OPD services; and Pandharpur Camp 71,400 were given free food and medicines.
