Financial Notes |
1) Unspent opening & closing balances of Grants have been adjusted in Foreign income. We take Grants spent during the year as Income on the basis of Guidelines of the ICAI. As Disha does not treat Grants as its income, the surplus/deficit we display will be different from that reported by the NGO.
2) The NGO has provided overall amounts spent on various projects, but not a detailed breakdown. 3) Depreciation on assets acquired out of Grant funds is not charged to the Income & Expenditure A/c. To account for wear and tear, Depreciation is reduced from the Asset and Capital Fund in the Balance Sheet. 4) Excess expenditure against grants at the end of each year shown in Current Assets. |
