Programs

Some of their 2012-13 activities were as follows:

Orientation Meetings, Seminars, Camps and Discussions: These are organised in order to facilitate the sharing of ideas and identify important issues so that people can take action on topics such as employment, family planning, health awareness, agricultural techniques and loan availability.
Water Sanitation Programme: AFDWOSE conducts a series of programmes, rallies, meetings and campaigns to spread awareness on safe drinking water and sanitation.
Vocational Training: The organisation conducts trainings on skills to help the rural population secure employment in areas such as computers, English, and craft making.
Reproductive Health: AFDWOSE endeavours to make women aware of their rights, create hygiene awareness and give them access to proper healthcare. The organisation educates women on AIDS, infertility, infant mortality and immunisation.
