Promotion of Communal Harmony
  • Cultural Educational and Environmental Organisation (CEEO) is a social collaboration set up by the State and Central Government of India. CEEO works at a grassroot level and implements policies and schemes framed by the Govt. to empower communal harmony.
  • The organization is working on setting up orphanages and providing free education to orphans, physically challenged and destitute children irrespective of gender, caste and creed; CEEO has initiated livelihood programs for widows/vulnerable women to financially enable them; there are also cultural awareness workshops arranged on themes like female foeticide, girl child education, environmental issues, etc.
  • Apart from the above mentioned initiatives the NGO also arranges sports and games meet, cultural events, exhibitions for sale of handicrafts made by rural artisans of Kashmir, campaigns on importance of afforestation, etc.
