Learn, Earn and Stand tall
  • Unnati, SGBS Trust's flagship program, is a 50-day (300 hours) vocational & life skills training program provided at a subsidized cost to help underprivileged youth secure stable employment. They aim to train and employ 1 million youth.
  • Salient Features: 1) Short-term, but intensive program. 2) Preference to youth from below poverty line families. 3) Age group of 18-25 years for both, men and women. 4) 100% job guarantee to the trainees. 5) Overall empowerment of the youth by teaching spoken English, basic computer, life skills and values, along with one core vocation opted for by the student.
  • Outcome: Unnati has a 100% placement record since inception. With 30 Centers in India, 28,000+ youth have benefitted so far. Average salary earned by the beneficiaries is in the range of ₹8,000 to ₹15,000 per month.
  • SGBS Trust's Shiksha program, objective of which is 'Education For All', supports underprivileged children with school fees and education expenses to encourage them to complete their education. This program benefits 600+ students every year. Over 30% students consistently score A+ grades.
