Learn, Earn and Stand tall
  • Unnati, the Trust's flagship program, is a 50-day (300 hours) free of cost of vocational & life skills training program to help underprivileged youth for securing stable employemnt. They aim to train and employ 1 million youth by 2020.
  • Salient Features: 1) Short-term, but intensive program. 2) Preference for youth from BPL families. 3) Age group of 18-25 years for both men and women. 4) 100% job guarantee to the trainees. 5) Overall empowerment of the youth by teaching spoken English, Basic Computers, Life skills, and Values, along with one core vocation opted for.
  • Outcome: Unnati has a 100% placement record since inception. With 30+ Centers in India, 22,000+ youth have benefitted so far. Average salary earned by the youth is Rs8,000-Rs12,000 per month.
  • SGBS Trust's 'Shiksha program', objective of which is 'Education For All', supports underprivileged children with school fees and education expense to encourage them to complete their education. 650+ students benefit every year. Over 30% students consistently score A+ grades.
