Uma Educational Society has been a well- known NGO since 1988 for the noble cause of disability and development of an inclusive society. The organization has been providing services from early intervention to create their own livelihood opportunities for independence through various initiatives.
Programs: i) Special School and sub centers for children with intellectual disabilities, early intervention, etc. ii) Daycare center for children with intellectual disabilities. Group shelter home for adults who are disabled mentally. iv) State learning center for Deafblindness. v) Disability rehabilitation center and and special education training institutes.
Outcome in 2019: 600+ beneficiaries being supported through the NGO's; 715 children provided with aids and appliances for specific physical disabilities.
