The Resilient Foundation (TRF) works to identify risks that can be hazardous to civilians, reduces such hazards and vulnerability in order to save lives. Their vision is to build disaster resilient communities which can act responsibly and proactively during disasters and emergency situations. Programs: Mrityunjay Doot: Conducted 36 Basic Life Support Workshops for 1,358 police personnel from 19 districts spread through five different regions of Maharashtra. Mrityunjay Doots appointed to reduce the highway accidents death fatalities ratio. Project Saksham is a 3-year program with Integrated Tribal Development Project to promote a disaster safety culture in schools. It aims to build a futuristic task force for emergency response, along with District Disaster Management Authority and fire brigade. In FY22, conducted workshops at 4 ashram schools covering 173 students, out of which 46% were female. Capacity Building: TRF, as a capacity-building expert having hands on experience in the task, trains school students in disaster management. Through its interventions in the areas of disaster management, the NGO has reached out to 10,000+ beneficiaries across India. |
