PraveenLata Sansthan (PLS) is dedicated to promoting justice and dignity through its focus on Women Empowerment, Child Welfare, and Rural Development. By understanding local issues deeply and leveraging community support, PraveenLata Sansthan implements need-based interventions in education, health, and skill development at the grassroots level. With a vision to alleviate poverty by empowering women and girls from marginalized communities, the NGO strives for behavioural, social, and economic transformation through community-based solutions.

Major Interventions:

Spotless Dame is the flagship program focused on menstrual hygiene management and sanitation. It includes awareness workshops and distribution of menstrual hygiene kits containing reusable, eco-friendly sanitary pads, lasting five years. The program educates beneficiaries on bodily changes and counters myths and taboos surrounding menstruation. It has resulted in reduced school dropouts, boosted girls' confidence, improved menstrual hygiene awareness, and decreased child marriages. Additionally, the pads are manufactured by local girls, providing them with livelihood opportunities.

Skill Development – Titli: The program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at empowering girls and women by enhancing their soft and life skills. PLS provides training in trades such as tailoring, jewellery-making, handicrafts, and computer literacy, alongside financial inclusion and market exposure. By fostering entrepreneurial skills, offering business incubation, and connecting participants with resources and networks, Titli helps women secure sustainable incomes, start their own enterprises, or obtain better jobs. The program's holistic approach ensures well-rounded growth, practical training, and peer support, leading to long-term success and improved futures for the beneficiaries. Capacity building sessions are also conducted on prevention methods of gender-based violence, ChildLine, and personal safety under Mission Jagriti to Respect SHE.

Education – Laadli & Shiksha Setu program is a remedial education initiative designed to help underprivileged girls bridge educational gaps and re-enrol in school. Through community centres in slums and rural areas, it provides basic literacy, creative learning, and awareness about government interventions. It supports government schools by promoting behavioural change in parents and children thereby enhancing retention rates. PLS also offers educational infrastructure support, including tuition fees, books, stationery, and scholarships for meritorious students. Additionally, it features indoor and outdoor recreational activities and a children’s library with both online and offline access to a variety of books.
