ASSCOD works to uplift rural and tribal communities in Tamil Nadu through environmental, education, women’s empowerment, and health initiatives. Guided by the vision of economically empowered rural women leading their families and communities toward prosperity, ASSCOD focuses on creating sustainable and inclusive growth.

Major Interventions:

Environment and Infrastructure: It encourages environmental stewardship through tree planting and clean energy initiatives. By distributing solar lights to families without electricity and developing community infrastructure such as halls and water purification systems, ASSCOD promotes sustainable living and resilience.

Education: ASSCOD runs tuition centers that help children from marginalized communities strengthen their academic foundation. It also improves school infrastructure, supports girl child education, and organizes enrichment camps to foster confidence and learning continuity among students.

Health and Nutrition: The focus is on improving the well-being of rural families through camps, nutrition drives, and awareness sessions. ASSCOD provides nutrition kits, supports maternal health, and ensures access to clean drinking water. The “One Meal a Day” initiative ensures food security for elderly individuals, while eye care and preventive health programs enhance the overall quality of life in underserved villages.

Women Empowerment: ASSCOD promotes self-reliance among women by facilitating livelihood training, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion. Through skill-based programs such as tailoring, digital payments, and vocational training, it supports women to generate income and attain financial independence. The establishment of the “Wings to Fly Trust,” led by tribal women, marks a significant step toward community ownership and leadership.
