Programs

Samadhan Foundation is dedicated to fostering a healthy, educated, and self-reliant society. Its mission is to enable communities to access livelihood, health, and education opportunities through capacity building, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of good practices. With a belief that solutions lie within the community, it empowers individuals to overcome challenges through collective action.

Major Interventions:

Sustainable Agriculture and Livelihood: Samadhan Foundation empowers women farmers through sustainable practices, such as organic farming and enterprise development. In 2023-24, it trained 120 women in natural farming techniques, soil testing, and eco-friendly farming methods. Skill development programs, including tailoring training, have enabled participants to gain economic independence and enhance their family livelihoods.

Samadhan focuses on strengthening Farmer-Producer Organizations (FPOs) by providing comprehensive financial and operational assistance. This includes training FPO members in financial literacy, record-keeping, and compliance with statutory regulations. It also helps facilitate bank account management, access to credit, and linkages with financial institutions to secure resources for their growth.

Adolescent Empowerment & Education: Samadhan addresses social challenges like early marriage and gender inequality by strengthening adolescent groups and engaging youth in life skills training and awareness programs. These programs equip them to advocate for change in their communities. Samadhan prioritizes education through various school-level activities, including quizzes, painting competitions, and science workshops.

Health & Environment: Eye health is a critical area of focus, and regular camps offer screenings and link individuals to necessary surgeries. Health awareness sessions emphasize mother and child health, nutrition, and preventive care. The foundation actively promotes environmental awareness through tree plantation drives and cycle rallies. Training and partnerships enhance water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices to create healthier living conditions.
