Presence

Programs

Purnkuti commits to the empowerment of marginalized communities, specifically focusing on women from low-income households, sex workers, and the transgender community. Its mission centers on improving the lives of underprivileged children and their families through the provision of education, life skills, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Major Interventions:

Project Dhara: This program empowers women by providing sustainable development opportunities and livelihood promotion. It facilitates various vocational training programs and entrepreneurship development sessions to improve the standard of living for participants. The initiative integrates women into the development process, focusing on domains such as fashion, beauty, food, and digital skills to promote self-reliance.

Project Manosakha provides quality education and skill-based learning to underprivileged children from rural areas and families of sex workers. The program aims to bridge learning gaps and strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy. By creating an inclusive and supportive environment, it reduces school dropout rates and promotes holistic academic progress through remedial education and life skill sessions.

Waterlily Public School: This educational initiative serves rural children by following a standardized curriculum that focuses on personal, social, and emotional growth. The school nurtures students to become informed and successful leaders while ensuring they remain connected to their roots. It provides an internet-enabled learning environment to prepare students for future challenges.

Label Purnkuti: This project operates as a production unit that focuses on sustainable fashion. It emphasizes the upcycling of waste fabrics to create new products, thereby promoting environmental consciousness alongside vocational empowerment. The initiative provides a platform for trained beneficiaries to apply their skills in a professional production setting.
