Shivgarjana Sevabhavi Sanstha  is working towards drug de-addiction, prevention of drug consumption, treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicted people, road safety, education, care of senior citizens and other various welfare programs, increasing the literacy rate, better health and propriety of the rural and slum area community. The NGO is formed by the educational, cultural, environmental improvement and social workers for the upliftment of the down trodden community, especially the vulnerable class of the society belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and OBC.

Major Activities include:

Drug De-Addiction & Awareness Campaigns: Consumption of alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, tobacco has been increased in the slum areas. Shiv Garjana conducts counselling sessions to overcome this problem and avoid the serious hazards from the addiction of these drugs thereby ensuring the people to live a happy and healthy life. Medical assistance and treatment are provided to patients seeking relief. Campaigns like Quit Addiction, Connect People and awareness about HIV Aids along with dental, blood donation, eye check-ups and other health camps are also organised.

Education: The NGO conducts camps and seminars in the field of youth empowerment and career development thereby promoting self-employment and arranging campus interviews to provide job placement. Various other leadership and career development trainings are carried out to empower the next generation.

The NGO has established various Self Help Groups (SHGs) to motivate women for better livelihood opportunities and personal development thereby serving the nation as notable citizens. Masks, sanitizers and food packets were distributed during Covid along with conducting awareness campaigns.
