Programs

IIS has expanded its reach through Feeder centres in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Odisha. IIS is developing well rounded individuals who will be equipped in the future to not only win medals in their sporting discipline but also be prepared for life outside sport through our Sports Scholarship program which is structured with a 360-degree holistic approach, leading to overall development, sustainability and empowerment of our athletes. It comprises of:

Education & Skill development- IIS has tailor made academic curriculum & life skills training for all the athletes.

Coaching: IIS has helped imparting technical & tactical coaching to all the athletes.

Sports Science: IIS provides training the athletes by providing Strength & Conditioning, Sports Medicine, Sports Psychology. Physiology support for each athlete at their Sports science lab and Recovery centre.

Athlete Management:  IIS helps with competitive exposure and calendar Planning for all the athletes. They help the athletes with technology and athlete management with the use of Edge 10 software.

Accommodation and Nutrition: All Athletes who are part of IIS are provided with fully furnished residential block and nutritious meals in the IIS Cafeteria to each athlete designed by trained chefs under the guidance of our sports nutritionist.

Overall, IIS has helped over 450 athletes who come from across India. Since inception, IIS athletes have won 400+ medals including 3 Olympic medals (Neeraj Chopra, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik), 12 Asian Games and Commonwealth Games medals and set 17+ National records with 75 National Champions.
